Many people feel guilted into following the light, because they think that’s the “right” thing to do. They are guilted into acting as they should act, thinking as they should think, and above all, not holding their own personal, selfish desires. But none of this needs to be true. The light often operates on guilt… Read More »
LOA Deep Dive: Can You Make a Mistake?
Very commonly when I am working with clients, and they have had some time of resistance, where they put their focus on what they didn't want, instead of on what they did want, they often say that they fear they've messed everything up. They fear everything going wrong, or like they've ruined all their progress thus far.
And yet, nothing could be further from the truth.
Many different teachers, and I agree, say that there are no mistakes. Byron Katie says this in exactly these words: there are no mistakes. There are no shoulds, and no shouldn'ts.
Abraham says something very similar. They say, you can never get it wrong, and you never get it done.
And yet so often it feels like we *do* get it wrong. So how is it that there are no mistakes? How is it we can never get it wrong?… Read More »
What Is the Purpose of the Material World?
Last week, on my post, Why You Want What You Want: Moving Beyond All Desire, we had a great discussion in the comments. One of the big questions that was raised was what exactly is the purpose of the material world?
The issue is that there are two general views about the material world, both of which are on extreme ends of the spectrum.

On the other hand, those who practice the law of attraction often believe that our desires are everything—that in fact the sole reason we are here is to fulfill our desires.
As is the case so often with these matters, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Buddha was on to something when he taught about the middle way. 🙂
But, what is this middle way? How can the spiritual and the material be reconciled? Could the material world actually aid us in our pursuit of greater freedom?… Read More »
How to Easily Understand Your Higher Self Every Time
So, you know that you have a higher self, and what it is doing for you in the background. But, You even know some simple ways of hearing your higher self.
But, it’s not foolproof. What if there was a way, though, that you could flawlessly understand what your higher self was trying to tell you, every single time?
Just because your higher self is spiritual, and you are here in a physical body, doesn’t mean that there aren’t means of communication. Would it make any sense if you came into this world without such a means—without communicating being fairly easy?
Now this doesn’t mean that everyone does it. In fact, it’s rather common for people to do exactly the opposite of what their higher self is communicating to them. But, it is possible, and rather easy once you realize how it really works.… Read More »
The Next Step of My Spiritual Journey
I don’t like that I have to write this post. I will admit that it is very difficult to me in some way. But, it is important for me to be honest with my readers, especially when it comes to my spiritual journey.
Those who know me already know that I am a seeker. It has always defined me, even since I was nine years old. I’ve always wanted to discover the truth. And, truthfully speaking, I searched near and far.
So really, my spiritual journey has always been full of twists and turns, and that’s never bothered me much. Why this one does more so than the others, I’m not 100% sure, and it’s something for me to explore.… Read More »
