Which Voice Are You Listening To?

We live in a world of infinite possibilities. That’s why I always end my emails with “Anything is possible.”

However we don’t generally believe that we live in a world of infinite possibilities. We’re told all the time that certain dreams or goals aren’t reasonable — that we have to be realistic.

Those very thoughts have crossed my own mind quite frequently. I’ve thought, “Am I just deluding myself?” Most people out there would think that I was.

But every time I have thoughts like that, the Universe soon shows me some sign that confirms that I am indeed on the right path.

There is a voice within us that is always pointing us towards our greatest fulfillment.

And then there is another voice — you could say the voice of the ego or of the world — which tells us that what we want isn’t possible. It tells us that we are a finite being with finite possibilities, and we just have to live with it. It tells us that things are the way they are, that it’s other people’s fault, and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Unfortunately that voice is often louder and more insistent than that inner voice of Truth.

Listening to the false voice will keep us stuck — keep us spinning our wheels and getting the same things we always have.

But we’re usually programmed from a young age to listen to the false voice. It’s the voice of authority, of people who know better than us, of society itself.

Listening to that voice of Truth — the voice of God if you will — requires courage, faith, and trust. It requires living in a way a bit against the grain — that other people often won’t understand. It’s illogical, irrational, seemingly delusional.

But it’s the only way that will lead to success and to our greatest fulfillment.

You must ask yourself then, which voice will you listen to? Which path will you take?

The path of the masses, listening to the false voice of ego — or the path of the few, listening to the small, silent voice of Truth that leads you to the fulfillment of everything you could want?
