Sometimes we believe we must construct this super positive façade around us. We must pretend everything is OK. We must never admit to doubt, to weakness, to discouragement. Everything’s OK: that thing we want is just around the corner; it’ll show up any day now. Seriously, any day now.
Sometimes we’ve been fighting it for so long we may not even know the poison that rests just beneath the surface. We may not realize our own true feelings about a situation.
Of course, the Universe has a way of reminding us.
Because guess what? The Universe is about helping us to grow, not encouraging us in our self-deception.
You might think that the path of Godhood — the left-hand path — is all about strength and force and self-confidence. Some people certainly like to portray it that way, myself included at times.
But there is strength in weakness. There is strength in admitting when you just don’t know the answer and that you can’t figure it all out right now.
Working on this path is actually about breaking down the ego and transcending to a higher state of being. Our ego wants to control everything, wants to know that everything is OK and under control.
It’s the ego that is afraid of weakness. The truth that we are at our center knows no weakness, because it’s present whether everything is going great, or whether it’s all falling apart. That stillness at our core remains, regardless, like the calm in the midst of the storm.
There’s a type of will that is found in the ego, which is a pale shadow of our true Will which stems from our inner beingness. When we feel the need to control the world around us directly, it’s generally that egoic will expressing itself. The higher ways of the true Will are totally alien to our ego.
Our true Will knows that nothing is off the path. Even momentary weakness actually serves our greater purpose, because it purifies us. It brings that poison up to the surface so it can be released.
Sometimes you just need to admit that you don’t know the answer — that things are scary right now and you don’t know how it will work out. That state of “don’t know”, so anathema to the ego, is in truth incredibly powerful. When we don’t know, it causes us to let go and allow the greater forces of the Universe to work out the details for us.
It’s not our job to figure it out or to know the answers. It’s our job to hold the vision of what we want no matter what happens, and let the Universe do the rest.
But sometimes, we need to fall apart, to admit our own weakness, in order to give up the control we’ve so desperately been holding onto.
Whatever is here today, let that be OK. Whether you feel great, or feel like nothing is going your way, let it be OK. Give yourself permission to just be OK with whatever is here today, without any need to fix it or make it other than it is.
When you can do that, that’s when true transformation begins.
I believe that the true knowledge of how the Will works is essential to being able to create, and not getting discouraged when things seem to not be going our way. In truth, it’s all part of the path.
If you want to learn the inner workings of your own true Will, and how to use it to shape your reality how you want, you have one more day to join this weekend’s masterclass.
The masterclass is being held tomorrow at 1PM Eastern, but of course if you are unable to attend live, the recording will be available indefinitely.
This is material I’ve never taught before, so I want to spread it to as many people as possible. If you have any questions at all about what’s included in the class, feel free to reply and ask. Or just click below to gain instant access:
