So much of life is often spent reacting to what is. Instead of setting our own pace, we react to whatever is thrown our way. But by allowing life to set the pace for us, we give up our own power.
Every day I try to ask myself, “What do I want today to be like?” I set the emotional/vibrational tone for the day.
And if ever the day starts veering off-course, I correct it once again, coming back to the experience that I want to be true for myself.
It’s living deliberately. If some event makes me feel fear, I know that I do not want fear to be part of my reality. So I redirect back to the positive emotions I’d rather be experiencing, while simultaneously releasing the fear without repressing it (that part is important).
This may seem like simple advice, but I find that many people do not follow it. If they feel fear, they might try to manifest a positive event to offset the fear, or they may just get stuck wallowing in the fear. But rarely will they simply redirect the fear to something they’d prefer to experience.
It’s simple. Though, not always so easy of course.
You are responsible for the types of manifestations that arise in your life. You are responsible for checking in regularly throughout the day to see if you are on course for those manifestations, and if not, to perform a course correction.
There are no surprises in manifestation. You do not wonder if you are headed towards what you want or not: you know, by the simple question of whether you feel how you want to feel. If not, then you are not headed in the right direction.
Are you living deliberately? Are you setting your course and correcting it regularly? Or are you simply hoping that it’ll all work out and not paying attention to where you are going?
It’s up to you. But your destiny is ever and always in your own hands.
