This Is What Holds You Bound

Yesterday I talked about your awakening as a God. I invited you to decide what you wanted to create, and then create it.

But there’s one thing that holds most people back. One thing that gets in the way of what they want.

And no, I don’t just mean resistance, though of course that’s part of it.

It’s what can perhaps best be called inertia.

It’s a pretty extensive topic and I’ll probably cover it in a future podcast, but in brief it’s when the Universe resists the changes you are trying to make.

In reality it’s usually your own subconscious mind that does the resisting. It has a certain picture of how the world should be, and when you go against that picture by trying to create something different, it doesn’t like it.

So it fights back. It brings up fear, resistance, anxiety, perhaps even negative manifestations.

And if you’re not really committed to your goal, sometimes (often) you’ll just give up.

Out of curiosity I’ve been listening to a bit of Bob Proctor, and he talks about this same phenomenon, calling it the “terror barrier”, which I find to be a pretty accurate description.

I call it inertia, because it’s literally your subconscious mind’s reluctance to change. But, it’s all the same idea.

As a God, you’re going to be experiencing this inertia (or “terror barrier”) regularly. You’re not immune to it, no matter how powerful of a creator you might be. Any time you try to take things to the next level, your subconscious will fight back.

What’s the solution?

Just keep going at it. Keep reasserting your will and focusing on your goal. Your persistence is the best tool you have here, and eventually the subconscious will give in.

This only begins to scratch the surface. Becoming the prime mover of your reality isn’t easy, simply because you’ve spent so long at the mercy of life. You have to entirely flip your whole paradigm on its head.
