In Thelema there is the concept of your “True Will”. When it is said, “Do what thou wilt,” it is not, as some believe, an injunction to do whatever you like. It’s a command to discover your True Will, and then to carry it out in the world.
Your True Will is what you’re here to do. It’s your raison d’etre, your life’s purpose.
How do you discover your True Will? It’s not exactly something that can be fully discussed in one brief email—essentially it is your life’s work to first discover, and then carry out, that True Will.
Except, I have a personal belief that your True Will is discovered by releasing all decisions, all actions, all emotions, all desires, and seeing what is left. I’ve been taking on a personal challenge to make no decisions from the ego but to allow the proper choice to simply arise from Awareness, from my deeper Self. It’s worked phenomenally well.
Your True Will is inherent to who you are. Thelema says “Every man and woman is a star,” and you have a path that is perfect for you. If you carry out that path, you will be not only happy, but successful to your highest potential. If you try to force yourself into a certain path that doesn’t work for you, then you’ll be miserable, and not nearly as successful as you could be.
My upcoming course, 81 Days to Effortless Success, will teach you the way to progressively uncover your True Will. The full revelation of your True Will could take a long time, but each step along the path can be apparent right now.
There are less than two days to sign up for the course, as it begins on Monday, May 6.
