On any given day, it seems like there are so many things we could worry about. Whether it’s money, the success of a business venture, how your coworkers think of you, or something else, you can probably find quite a few things to worry about.
I know how that is, as I’m quite prone to worrying myself. But I also know that it doesn’t accomplish anything.
When you’re in the midst of the greatest worry, the only thing that will help is the most counterintuitive of all: stop trying to figure it all out. Stop trying to work out a solution to your problems, or figure out the best way to what you want.
nothing good comes from the mind’s propensity to try to figure things out. Because, you don’t have all the data. You don’t have the big picture. And most of all, you can’t make anything happen with the mind.
The part of you that has the power is deeper than the mind. But that part can only come to the forefront when the mind stops spinning so much.
So trust. Trust that the Universe has a way to the resolution of all your apparent problems. Trust that nothing good can come from endlessly worrying about it. Trust that since there is a problem, there has to be a solution, and because of the principle of non-doing, this solution has to be effortless.
As I said I know this is counterintuitive, and it’s extremely hard to apply in the moment. But if you do, you’ll find freedom, and you’ll also find your problem dissolving before your eyes. Just be willing to step back a little bit and let the Universe take control.
