This was a good call. It helped me come to zero after coming into contact with very low vibration last night. Some companies expect perfection, which you deliver, when they themselves are so flawed and all the problems come from their end and then they dictate to you the policies that they have in place to deal with their insecurity. One of my pet peeves is hypocrisy. I just never understood this in humans. Really weird to me.
You can combine both the right and the left magics. I guess I am more into chaotic magic myself. Either way, acknowledging universal energy for powering all that is is central to practice. But this is known already. I am not sure why I’m adding it here so I’ll stop now.
Hey Kat,
Thank you. ๐ I’m sorry to hear what happened with that company, though.
And you’re right, things can definitely be mixed. it’s a spectrum. I also really like chaos magic. ๐
Never worry about what you add here. It’s always welcome. ๐
Thank you, Brandon. This is a sign to me that I must not give in to distractions which detract me from my goal. This would be a good topic for you guys to discuss at some point- distractions and how best to deal with them. It would be useful for us sensitives and generally for anyone who wants to get somewhere but there’s a lot of stuff going on around them which distracts from their focus. I used to be awesome at this, but while living in Greece I picked up some bad habits, such as expressing myself, calling things out for what they are and the like. So, I’m also trying to find the old me in a way, with my razor focus.
I’d also like to add here what the masons do in their rituals and ceremonies, from what I’ve read. After acknowledging and calling forth Source Energy, they basically talk a lot about the topics at hand and solving them. They communicate with each other a lot and this support system helps. It’s a good example. ?
Hi Kat,
Yes it’s a good topic, how to not get distracted by other things in life. Thanks for the suggestion. ๐
Also fascinating about the Masons. I don’t really know too much about them.
BTW I think you’ll like the podcast this weekend. It’s about various magical paths and the different traditions out there.
Sounds great! I’m sure I’ll love it ?
I wanted to add that some spells are difficult to carry out, but, if focused on mentally, may vet well work. For example, Spell caster Maxim has a wonderful spell on his site for cleansing yourself. It’s actually listed as removing the evil eye you cast upon yourself and with that you remove the obstacles in your way. The premise is good, but, living in a crowded city, I can’t find a place where I can burn a piece of paper and draw a circle around myself with chalk. Where to do this? There’s a fire hazard. It’s supposed to be done privately and of course I’ll be questioned. However, I visualized the ritual and it did help. Of course, I can vary it and this is also based on a ritual we have in the Greek Orthodox Church, by the way, so it is used widely.
I concluded that what we drag with us inside ourselves is the cause of a lot of our problems and it’s good to do these cleansings. If one does find human behavior pretty bizarre like I do, then instead of lamenting, we can flip it into compassion and cool off the fire of anger inside that lights up like a forest fire. It just does no good really and keeps you from moving on. Maxim does mention a good thing on his site, which is to always stay cool and this is one of the secrets.
I just wanted to share some examples here since the discussion is about various practices.
Thanks Kat. I definitely agree.
And I’m sorry about your difficulty doing the spell you want to do. I think visualizing it works just fine. And you can always modify it as well to suit your circumstances. Spells aren’t written in stone or anything. ๐
I really liked the part about idly daydreaming about a desire versus deliberately choosing it. I was just wondering about this today, so I’m glad this post came out ๐
Thanks so much Natasha. I think it’s something that trips up a lot of people. Most people are told to just โfeel goodโ and that’s all they need to do. But as we know, it takes a lot more. It takes a deliberate decision to manifest this goal. ๐
I would disagree with your definition of current level goals being goals that will manifest in a week. For example, getting a college degree, getting married, having kids, buying a house someday, etc. are all current level goals for a lot of people even if these things won’t happen in a week. For some people these are definitely next level or ultimate level goals, but for the majority I think these goals are as easy as getting a glass of water even if they won’t manifest in a week.
Hi Natasha,
I disagree that these are current level goals. Though the subconscious mind might support it, all of the goals you mentioned take work. Getting a college degree certainly isn’t as easy as getting a glass of waterโwell unless you’re a genius. ๐ Getting married is also a huge adjustment, no matter how ready for it you think you are. And having kids is also a huge adjustment.
So I maintain that a current level goal is something that can generally be manifested in a week. These weightier topics you mention are more next level goals, because they take a lot more adjustment.
I guess I just feel like most people in the developed world have absolutely no doubt that these things will happen someday. I feel like they are things that the majority of people can just let go and they’ll happen.
Hi @Natasha,
Yes I agree with you, but knowing something will happen โone dayโ is very different from knowing it’ll happen this week. That’s the main difference, if that makes sense. ๐
I also feel like just because they might take physical work, it is work that is inspired and comes naturally. I just feel like the subconscious doesn’t have to be stretched or modified in any way for these goals to come to pass, even if they do take time and physical work
Hi @Natasha,
I think it depends. These are pretty significant goals, and knowing that something will happen intellectually is totally different from actually being faced with the reality of it.
I got married almost 6 years ago, and I’ll say the reality of it was totally different from knowing that one day it would happen. it did indeed take some subconscious restructuring to have a happy, healthy relationship, to get used to each other, living together, etc.
Subconscious restructuring doesn’t always have to be an involved process of releasing resistance, etc. It is simply the process of making something easy and natural. Marriage is certainly not always easy and natural, and takes some time to get used to. Same goes for college, as it is a massive transition.
I think people overestimate current level goals. They are extraordinarily simple. As said, it is as simple as getting a glass of water, or knowing that you’ll go to work tomorrow, for instance. There is no stretch, no ordeal, no sense of excitement about it, or really any intense emotion.
For me, the act of getting married is very different from the simplicity of something I know will happen this week or within a few days. Marriage is definitely a big deal, as are the other examples you gave.
Natasha, thank you so much for your comment! You reminded me that things come to pass. You will pass you exams one day and work in the field of your choice, for example. Sometimes we get lost in school and despair, thinking it will never happen. It takes time and effort, though, and thank you for adding this perspective. I feel better about it now, after reading your comment.
