Magical protection is a topic that I’ve not discussed very much. It’s something that can go easily ignored for quite a while, until the point when you really need it.
When would those points be, though? Why would you need magical protection in the first place? And, how can you protect yourself?
It’s not as hard as it might sound. In most cases, you don’t need any special tools, unless you choose to use them. You can even possibly do it with no tools whatsoever besides your own imagination.
Note: In order to fit in both topics that I cover—namely the law of attraction, as well as psychic abilities and other metaphysical or magical topics—I am now alternating my posts. So since Monday’s post was on the law of attraction, today’s post is on magic, and Saturday’s podcast will be on the law of attraction again. I hope that this accommodates all who might be interested in one topic or the other, so it is equally balanced.
Why Protect Yourself?
Why do you need magical protection in the first place? Isn’t it just good enough to feel good, and any negative energy will just bounce right off of you?
Well, unfortunately it’s not as simple as all that. The fact is, unless you have absolutely flawless energy, with no blockages whatsoever, you’re going to need magical protection.
I used to not be much into magical protection myself. However, I’ve realized how vital it is to use it, especially when working with clients, since often their negative energy would stick to me during and even after the session, and it’d take some time to extricate myself from it.
Your Energy Field Isn’t Perfect
All of the resistance, limiting beliefs, and ego stories you’ve picked up throughout your life, are all hanging out in your energy field. Not all of that is active right now, depending on your current focus in life. For instance, if most of your focus is on earning more money, then your energy blockages around, say, relationships probably aren’t being triggered as much.
But, it can be triggered, either through mundane means, or magical. Mundanely speaking, you could suddenly meet someone you’re really interested in, and now all of your subconscious structures around relationships come to the surface. Issues that might have been buried for years might now be very, very active in your energy system. Even just beginning to put your focus on the desire for a relationship will start to trigger those latent blockages.
Magically speaking, it is possible that someone wishes you harm, or even that a magic user, witch, etc, actively sends a curse your way. They might wish that you run into trouble with relationships (maybe this is a spurned ex or something). This energy would then interact with your energy system. Now, if you had no problems around relationships, it would naturally bounce right off. But, if as in our example, you have some latent resistance, then all of that will come up to the surface in a big way.
Even if things are going pretty well right now, you just don’t know what might be latent in your own energy field, which can be a magnet to such negative energy from the outside.
Magical Protection and Internet Security
Magical protection is somewhat akin to having a firewall on your computer, or having other security measures on your network.
For example, the web host that Co-Creation Coaching is hosted with has extensive security measures in place to prevent all sorts of various attacks that a website such as this might be prone to. Even though WordPress (the software used by this site) is pretty secure out of the box, it’d be incredibly stupid to not still protect against security threats. Even if a security threat weren’t to happen for an entire year (virtually unheard of on the internet, but just for the sake of example), it would still be smarter to have those measures in place for when it did happen.
So, the same is true for your own energy system. Let’s say you’re doing pretty well and everything is comfortable. Does that mean there aren’t potential issues under the surface that could be triggered? Does it mean you are impervious to even stray negative energy from just interacting with others? Obviously not. It is safer to at least have basic protection in place for such things, and to increase it when necessary.
Negative Energy Can Be Accidental
You might think, “I don’t know any magic users in my own life, so why would I really need to protect myself?”
I’ve discussed before the power of words, even words carelessly spoken. It’s true, a regular magical user or witch will have considerably more power behind even a casually-spoken word than an everyday person, but anyone can put great power behind their words if they put strong emotion behind it. Strong hatred or anger can send out a great deal of negative energy, especially when spoken aloud.
But, you can pick up negative energy even just by interacting with others, too. Empaths will know what I’m talking about. Being in a big crowd is an invitation to pick up any stray negative energy, especially if you are in even the slightest bad mood.
Imagine you go out to the store to pick up some food for dinner. You’re feeling a bit rushed, so you’re a little irritable. Then, you get cut off in traffic. You pass a customer in the store who’s arguing with the cashier. When you get up to check out, the cashier doesn’t seem to be having a great day, either. By the time you get home, you’re feeling several times worse than when you left.
What happened? With your bit of irritability, you acted as a magnet to the stray negative energy that you happened to come across. It wasn’t meant for you, but it was just floating around and you were a great magnet.
Feeling Good Sometimes Isn’t Enough
So in the above case, why isn’t it enough to just enter the zero state and feel better?
Well, that can definitely help. But when you’re out in the world and interacting with various energies, it takes a lot of discipline to disconnect yourself from the negative energy around you, and then from your own irritability, and finally to enter the zero state. And then, because you’ve really only disconnected temporarily and not permanently released those energetic blockages within yourself that would cause you to generate this experience in the first place, you get thrown right back into the mess when the next bit of negative energy floats by.
The zero state work is for later, once you evaluate the situation and systematically work through each negative trigger. But in the heat of the moment, you just need a quick and dirty way of extricating yourself from all that stray negative energy. A quick psychic shield, for instance, might not remove your irritability—though it might, too—but it’ll keep it from attracting other stray bits of negative energy to augment the problem.
Negative Entities Are Out There
One final reason to shield yourself is that negative astral entities do definitely exist. And, unfortunately, they are often attracted to those who are powerful magical users. By the way, if you’re using the law of attraction, you’re a magical user. Sorry to inform you. 😉
But, these negative astral entities will cling to your latent negative energy, and make it more pronounced and easier to be triggered. Or, they will simply watch for an opening to make itself available.
Most of these threats are very minor, and not on the magnitude of possession that many people are afraid of, but still, I’m sure you agree you don’t need any extra astral influences on your energy. 🙂
How to Use Magical Protection
Hopefully now you know some reasons why magical protection might be useful in your own life. So how do you actually use it? I’ll give some basic methods below. I will branch out on many of these ideas in future posts, and other courses as well.
Psychic Shielding
Psychic shielding is one of the most basic methods of magical protection, but also one of the most powerful. It requires some visualization, though it’s possible for those with a kinesthetic modality as well.
The first thing to understand is that energy always responds to your thoughts. Whatever you visualize, energy will do exactly that. You don’t have to try to get it to do something, or to feel a specific thing. As long as you are able to see it in your mind, be confident in the fact that energy is responding to your imagination.
The method is simple and varied. The basic method goes like this:
- Imagine Universal Energy coming down through the top of your head.
- See that energy collecting as a glowing orb in your heart chakra (in the center of your chest). You might even feel radiating warmth in that area.
- As you breathe in, see more Universal Energy flowing into that glowing orb, making it stronger and denser.
- As you breathe out, imagine that orb expanding farther and farther, getting brighter and brighter.
- Keep repeating steps 3 and 4, seeing energy flowing into that orb on the in-breath, and the orb expanding and getting even brighter on the out-breath. Do this until the orb surrounds your entire body—in front, behind, above, and below—with at least a foot or so between your body and the inside of that orb. Now you have a nice, strong, glowing energy bubble around your body.
- Imagine a filter in the wall of that energy bubble. This filter only allows in positive energy, but keeps out all negative energy.
- Optionally, imagine the outside of that energy bubble as a mirror. Any negative energy that comes your way will bounce off and return to the sender.
This latter step is especially nice for when someone is intentionally attacking you magically/psychically. It lets them know that you’re not an easy target, so that they won’t try it again.
Eventually, you won’t need to go through this entire process. Some people will rehearse the steps and associate them with a single word, so that when they speak that word, it is all done automatically. I will not teach that in this post, but I plan on teaching a course on the basics of magic and witchcraft in the near future, and I will definitely teach it in that course, so stay tuned! 🙂
Warding
Sometimes you don’t want to just protect yourself, but a physical location, such as your home. Wards are great for this, as they are rooted to the earth, so don’t need as much replenishing as a psychic shield does.
For this one, you are going to traverse the internal perimeter of the area you want to protect. Here are the basic steps:
- Before warding, do a basic cleaning. This can be as simple as going around each room and smudging with sage, or ringing a bell, etc. This will clear out all negative energy before putting up your ward.
- Then, choose how you want to do the ritual. You can use the representation of one, or many, elements.
- For earth, you can use salt, sand, or dirt
- For water, you can use a vessel of water
- For air, you can use a feather, a bell, incense, etc
- For fire, you can use a candle, or anything else that reminds you of fire
- Take one of your elemental representations and navigate clockwise around the internal perimeter of the space to be warded.
- At each portal (door, window, etc), imagine your element forming a large wall.
- For earth, you might imagine large mountains
- For water, you might imagine waterfalls, a river, or even a moat
- For air, you might imagine powerful winds
- For fire, you might imagine, well, a wall of fire
- If you like, you can also use some sort of chant, but you don’t have to.
- With each portal you pass, imagine that ward growing in size and progressively wrapping around the space to be warded.
- Once you’ve finished circumnavigating the space to be warded, optionally repeat steps 3-6 with another elemental representation, as listed above.
- When finished, visualize a strong, impenetrable ward around your space.
You might want to repeat this every once in a while to keep them strong. You can also send energy through your hands into the wards to strengthen them.
Other Methods
There are many other methods of magical protection. Ceremonial magicians will often use something called the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, which is a very powerful ritual. You can also use simple tools, like crystals known for their protective nature.
Another great one is amulets. An amulet is essentially an object that is imbued with protective intent, and worn on the body in some way, often as a necklace. They are sort of like a ward in that it is rooted to an object, but like a shield in that it comes with you. It’s a very useful tool.
Most other tools will require some training and research, so it is beyond the scope of this post.
Bringing It All Together
So to summarize, it’s a great idea to use magical protection to protect you against stray negative energy, or more directed, malicious negative intentions or curses. Yes, you should always work on your own issues, but magical protection will give you the space you need to do that work in your own time.
Do you have to have a shield up 24/7? Not necessarily. I do recommend doing this any time you are about to interact with others, even indirectly.
Otherwise, just be aware of your own energy. If you start feeling negative for seemingly no reason, then throw up a shield just in case there might be an external cause. It of course may be nothing, but it is safer to put up the shield.
Finally, you should always shield yourself when you are doing any kind of psychic or magical work, such as communicating with your spirit guides. It’ll ensure that no lower astral entities can come around to try to influence you.
If you keep these simple precautions in mind, you will probably never run into trouble. You’ll also probably notice that using magical protection will give you more space to do your own inner work, and be less reactive to others around you.

Isn’t it interesting how one thing brings on another? Such as, a romantic relationship, especially with a soul mate, can trigger unresolved issues that were hidden for a long while until that relationship began. Perhaps for you to deal with it and the soul mate helps you out with this, which is one of his/her purposes.
Yes, I would also like to add wearing an eye for protection is also a good one. Or a cross or special pendant a godparent may give you. Burning an oil lamp with a patron saint or Jesus is also quite popular. These are found on highways in some countries. Also, on Holy Saturday, we bring the Holy Light home from church to purify the house and give it new energy.

Yes, protection is absolutely essential. I work my sheidls everyday. There are lots of Herbs you can carry also. THey work similar to crystals.

This was an interesting post. I’m curious about two things.
The first is, why exactly is it that negative entities are attracted to powerful magic users? I can see why human beings are attracted to powerful human beings–they think the powerful person will do favors for them, or they just like the feeling of prestige they get from being around that person. But I’m not sure these apply to negative entities. What do they get out of being around strong magic users?
The second is, if energy responds to intention, why couldn’t I set up a permanent shield? It seems like people have to renew their shields pretty often, and I can never remember to put up a shield every time it might be necessary. I can see why shielding another person might not last–maybe when you put up the shield, they are willing, but later on they go, “Naw, I don’t want that shield anymore,” and dispel it. Is that what we do to ourselves? Do we subconsciously tell ourselves to shut it off? Is there a time limit for our shields? Maybe “I intend for this shield to last during this spirit guide contact” (an hour) works, but “I intend for this shield to last all day, replenishing from my energy if needed” is too long?

Great questions.
I think negative entities are attracted to powerful magic users because there is just a greater quantity of power there. If the entity can find an opening, they’re probably going to be able to feed on a lot more quantity of fear or other negative emotions than with someone else.
Also, because some may hope that they can influence the magic user to do what they want them to do.
Negative entities feed on negative emotions. That’s why the best thing to do if you are experiencing some sort of paranormal situation is to shut down your negative emotions and show absolutely no fear. That in itself is a very useful shielding mechanism.
As for why shields don’t last, it’s because focus = energy. When you’re focused on your shield, you’re feeding it energy, and so it lasts. When you take your focus away from it, well that shield isn’t going to last very long.
The more you put up a shield, the longer it’ll last, because it becomes almost a thought form. Just like with manifestation, the more attention you give to something, the more power you give it to become more manifest and to last longer.
So someone just beginning might only be able to keep their shield up without focus for a few minutes. An experienced magic user might be able to keep it up for hours, and will almost definitely always have at least a basic shield surrounding them at all times. Once you get used to it, it actually takes more effort to take down your shield than to put it up.

I’ve read about shields occasionally, and the advice often seemed unnecessarily complicated to me. I was thinking, “Well, you just do it. And I’ve had bad experiences where I deliberately lowered or abolished my shield and really got freaked out by the negativity around me. So maybe what you said explains why…maybe empaths learn to put up a shield habitually as children, just on an intuitive level, and they renew it pretty intuitively. Then it only really becomes an issue when they deliberately take them down, or when there is an extreme amount of negativity such that even their sturdy shields don’t hold up well. This is fascinating!
I have a question about wards, too. In your opinion, is it okay to ward a place that doesn’t belong to you? I have some neighbors with pretty extreme arguing, and I’ve often thought it would be nice to ward their apartment to screen out some of the negativity for them or enhance positive emotions. (I’ve already warded our apartment, so it doesn’t really bother me. This warding would be for them inside their home.) I don’t want to ask their permission and look like a wacko. Would it be wrong to just do it anyway, without asking? DHS has been out to check on their kids, but they didn’t take the kids away, and the screaming continues. I keep thinking maybe I don’t have to ask the parents’ permission to ward if the kids are being harmed by the negativity. What do you think?

Glad you found my answer useful.
Most people have natural shields of some sort. It’d be pretty overwhelming to go around with absolutely no shielding whatsoever. These types of shielding exercises are really just strengthening our natural shields.
Some people have very strong natural shields. See my response to Natasha upthread about Trump. Others are more open and vulnerable.
So I definitely think an empath will learn over time to shield themselves. Otherwise they’ll go nuts with all of the emotional overload from others around them.
Regarding your question about wards, ethics is really up to you. Personally, I wouldn’t do it. And even if you did, remember that wards can only keep out negative energy that isn’t already in the home. That’s why I said to cleanse the space first. So if the negativity is coming from within, it’d do little good.

If one is deeply depressed, are they more prone as targets of negative entities? Or is depression not really a cause for them to strike, as one is catatonic, so there isn’t much going on anyway? Can you give some examples of situations where one becomes prone to the negative entities? How about positive ones?

Yes, absolutely. Anyone who has strong emotions can be an easy target to negative entities.
Someone with depression is definitely a common target because of the strong emotions that come along with that. Often it is the reason why someone might be encouraged to commit suicide. Again, all that pain and anguish is food to negative entities.
It goes similarly for strong positive emotions or high spiritual development. Negative entities will often still try to find an opening, but usually are unsuccessful. But positive entities will also be attracted, or random astral entities just passing through, even recently deceased souls.
I see. This would also go for people who argue a lot or are obsessed with things, etc. Sometimes I feel those entities acting on them, or I can tell they are there. I just know.
Does the zero state act as a protective barrier from this as well?

Yes exactly. The first two years of our marriage, Christine and I argued all the time. You could almost feel the negative energies hanging around. Sometimes we would cleanse our house just to clear out some of the negativity. It’s definitely very destructive.
Yes the zero state helps. But, it’s hard to get there in the midst of some external trigger. You should practice doing that, but the shield will give you a buffer of sorts to make that easier.

Brandon, is getting into the zero state essential when blessing someone? I guess that yes, but I wanted to ask anyway. Is it enough to simply visualize them filled with love and light, feeling happiness within? Or would you say that I’d need some special ritual? Although this resembles the “psychic shielding” you mentioned above.
I also need to ask if blessing a certain person every day would be counterproductive for them. I’m talking about people who are a match to the love I’m sending. Is it likely for me to overdo it? lol

Yes, you need to enter the zero state. But the method you outlined sounds perfect. Just imagine them with love and light, while being in the zero state yourself.

I passed that exam that you asked me about several weeks ago, and I did pretty well. Exams are officially starting next week, and I feel good about it. I’m rediscovering the love inside of me, and the whole world is a much more beautiful place because of that. I appreciate all the help you’ve given me.
It seems that whenever I say that things are going well, then the next day my subconscious reminds me otherwise, in a strong way lol. I’m currently not intending anything regarding my apartment, but there are many problems with it. Some of the problems are making my studying for exams harder. For example I’m studying, and then it’s not going so well. Then I allow the emotions and focus on doing well anyway. And in the middle of it, some of many annoying sounds come up, and makes it pretty harder to deal with what I was already doing. The goals I currently focus on are demanding, and I have no energy to deal with the apartment problems, too. However, they are much important goals than the apartment one. I allow the negative emotions when they come up due to a problem with apartment, but the problems persist. The whole thing with apartment problems, together with dealing with resistance that comes up with studying (one of my goals is passing all the exams) just drains me a lot, and I fall asleep, and lose precious time.
Over the last few weeks I’ve really learned what you meant about dedicating myself to just a few goals. I can feel the amount of dedication that’s needed for them throughout the day. I’ve also learned how good it is to be able to let go of emotions, and enjoy the zero state. However I don’t know how to deal with the apartment problems anymore lol. Especially the annoying sound that I can’t identify where it’s coming from. Nobody seems to know.

Would it be wrong to just do it anyway, without asking? DHS has been out to check on their kids, but they didn’t take the kids away, and the screaming continues. I keep thinking maybe I don’t have to ask the parents’ permission to ward if the kids are being harmed by the negativity. What do you think?

Glad you found my answer useful.
Most people have natural shields of some sort. It’d be pretty overwhelming to go around with absolutely no shielding whatsoever. These types of shielding exercises are really just strengthening our natural shields.
Some people have very strong natural shields. See my response to Natasha upthread about Trump. Others are more open and vulnerable.
So I definitely think an empath will learn over time to shield themselves. Otherwise they’ll go nuts with all of the emotional overload from others around them.
Regarding your question about wards, ethics is really up to you. Personally, I wouldn’t do it. And even if you did, remember that wards can only keep out negative energy that isn’t already in the home. That’s why I said to cleanse the space first. So if the negativity is coming from within, it’d do little good.

Yes, absolutely. Anyone who has strong emotions can be an easy target to negative entities.
Someone with depression is definitely a common target because of the strong emotions that come along with that. Often it is the reason why someone might be encouraged to commit suicide. Again, all that pain and anguish is food to negative entities.
It goes similarly for strong positive emotions or high spiritual development. Negative entities will often still try to find an opening, but usually are unsuccessful. But positive entities will also be attracted, or random astral entities just passing through, even recently deceased souls.
I see. This would also go for people who argue a lot or are obsessed with things, etc. Sometimes I feel those entities acting on them, or I can tell they are there. I just know.
Does the zero state act as a protective barrier from this as well?

Yes exactly. The first two years of our marriage, Christine and I argued all the time. You could almost feel the negative energies hanging around. Sometimes we would cleanse our house just to clear out some of the negativity. It’s definitely very destructive.
Yes the zero state helps. But, it’s hard to get there in the midst of some external trigger. You should practice doing that, but the shield will give you a buffer of sorts to make that easier.

Yes, you need to enter the zero state. But the method you outlined sounds perfect. Just imagine them with love and light, while being in the zero state yourself.

I passed that exam that you asked me about several weeks ago, and I did pretty well. Exams are officially starting next week, and I feel good about it. I’m rediscovering the love inside of me, and the whole world is a much more beautiful place because of that. I appreciate all the help you’ve given me.
It seems that whenever I say that things are going well, then the next day my subconscious reminds me otherwise, in a strong way lol. I’m currently not intending anything regarding my apartment, but there are many problems with it. Some of the problems are making my studying for exams harder. For example I’m studying, and then it’s not going so well. Then I allow the emotions and focus on doing well anyway. And in the middle of it, some of many annoying sounds come up, and makes it pretty harder to deal with what I was already doing. The goals I currently focus on are demanding, and I have no energy to deal with the apartment problems, too. However, they are much important goals than the apartment one. I allow the negative emotions when they come up due to a problem with apartment, but the problems persist. The whole thing with apartment problems, together with dealing with resistance that comes up with studying (one of my goals is passing all the exams) just drains me a lot, and I fall asleep, and lose precious time.
Over the last few weeks I’ve really learned what you meant about dedicating myself to just a few goals. I can feel the amount of dedication that’s needed for them throughout the day. I’ve also learned how good it is to be able to let go of emotions, and enjoy the zero state. However I don’t know how to deal with the apartment problems anymore lol. Especially the annoying sound that I can’t identify where it’s coming from. Nobody seems to know.

Yes, you can reinforce your shield as much as you want to. And you can set the intention when putting it up that all positive energy can still come through.
There’s really no downside that I can think of, as long as you are open still to positive energy. Some people, when they’ve really been hurt, will put up an impenetrable shield, even to those who want to help. That would not be useful. But if you’re healthy about it, there’s no risk whatsoever.

Now that I think of it, too bad that I threw away all of my sage, incense and candles. I was sure they were kind of useless… Plus, I found the whole thing with cleansing spaces tiring. I can’t read energies, but maybe my current apartment has a lot of remaining negative energies, and that would explain why there are so many problems. Until now, I have been convinced that the problems with my apartment have to do with me personally, but now I’m not sure anymore.
Is there a way I could find out the current energetic state of my apartment by a ritual or something? Or would I need divination for that?
You’d need divination, or you can get more information through an intuitive reading. But if you feel off about it, then it’s probably a good indication that a cleansing would help.

You know how I’d be wanting some sort of supermodel girlfriend who was way out of my league? Well I met her today. It was like the most unlikely thing ever imaginable – a ’10’. And she was very keen to meet up later. I was like…. huh? I felt like I was dreaming. In the time after saying goodbye I got so nervous my mouth was dry and I started sending stupid texts indicating my unavailability in a subtle way. Well she said she couldn’t meet later today, maybe another day. I called and got no answer.
In my head I was imagining her finding out about the real me and how I don’t have much to offer. Well in some ways I do, but in other ways my social life, finances and health are completely fucked. And she was perfect. Felt like I’d waited forever to meet her. You just never see girls like this alone.
Well that was my day – I stuffed it. I should have just seen how far it went before I got rejected.

Today came another day that is a bloody agony. So much powerlessness and other emotions being triggered. I couldn’t help but cry. I really don’t know if I’m gonna make it. I don’t understand why I continuously have to suffer so much. Surely, there is the zero state, but allowing the resistant energy hurts a lot anyway. It’s like someone burning my body with fire, and me having to allow it. It still burns, it still hurts so much. Studying for exams brings up a lot of frustration and powerlessness (especially since every day I actively focus on my goal of passing the exams easily and successfully), and dealing with that is already so hard, but as I have already mentioned, the problems with apartment kick in while I’m dealing with negative emotions from studying, and it really adds fuel to the fire.
I can see why many people drink alcohol, or get involved with other such things. Dealing with all this burning pain is insanely difficult without something to numb the pain. Brandon, is there a point in me continuing to live? I can’t express the amount of pain I’ve withstood during the last 15 years. And it keeps going on. I don’t want to live a life that hurts so freaking much. It feels like an endless nightmare, and I’m powerless to change it. But if I can ask without being impertinent, what is the source of your frustration? Just take today as an example. I want to break down this overwhelming pain you describe into its components. What is it from?
I started studying in the morning. The exam is in only 2 days, and I’m behind with my studies. I have other exams coming, too, but I haven’t yet got the chance to start studying for them. Depression and lack of motivation are the reason why I’m behind with the studies. That, plus my brain has difficulty concentrating and memorizing. It’s functions were weakened by suffering and resistance throughout the years.
So anyway, I was doing the exercises, and then I kept making mistake after mistake. I tried to allow it, but it kept happening. At the same time, that annoying sound was in the background. I don’t know where it’s coming from. I’ve tried finding out, but couldn’t. Nobody else knows, either. Also, my apartment has poor heating, so at the same time I was cold. Then I also got awful abdominal pain, which reminded me of my poor health that has continued for years. There’s also a car parked right in front of my window (my apartment is somewhat below the ground level), which blocks some light. My fridge also started making very annoying noises.
Then I also got hungry, which added to the stress. I thought about going to get something to eat, but then I realized that it’s the same thing every day, and how boring my life is. All these things piled up together, and it was way too much to handle. After crying for some time, I barely managed to convince myself to go out to take a walk, and get something to eat. Practically speaking, can you study in short bursts? Like 30 minutes of study, then 15 minutes of break. Or, whatever works for you. It’s a lot easier to get motivated when you know you only have to do it for 30 minutes.
Now to get to the underlying issues, can you see that this suffering is all in your mind? The facts of the situation were:
On their own, do you see any cause for suffering in these raw facts?
It’s your interpretation of those facts that causes the suffering.
Try some questions like this (taking this from The Work of Byron Katie):
Hopefully you get the point. Apply similar questions to each of your complaints above. Try to see if you can see through them, that these are just ego stories that are holding you in bondage. You can’t create what you want as long as you’re being held by these ego stories.

Thank you, Justin, for all your advice. I actually asked the Universe to help me, I asked my deceased grandparents to help me, I asked anyone who can, to help me. I can’t hear anyone from non-physical, but I did ask for help. The last few days were good, so I guess that someone did help me in a way.
Also, for studying, what works best in my case is studying at home, since I have all the tools I need, and I can concentrate (that is, until the annoying sounds pop up). However things have been better for the last few days. I actually also found out where the mysterious sound is coming from! It’s from my neighbor’s water heater, and it should get fixed soon. I can also see improvement and my own growth with my biggest goal, to be open and enjoy friendship with many people. It still gets hard, but I definitely see things morphing. I’m excited to see how it goes on. 🙂

Also, for studying, what works best in my case is studying at home, since I have all the tools I need, and I can concentrate (that is, until the annoying sounds pop up). However things have been better for the last few days. I actually also found out where the mysterious sound is coming from! It’s from my neighbor’s water heater, and it should get fixed soon. I can also see improvement and my own growth with my biggest goal, to be open and enjoy friendship with many people. It still gets hard, but I definitely see things morphing. I’m excited to see how it goes on. 🙂

Yeah, I’m learning a lot experientally. I stopped focusing so much on theory, and started applying what Brandon teaches practically. I feel that I am getting the hang of it.
By the way, you mentioned that during meditation, you like to ground yourself. Could you please tell me how you do that, and what does grounding enable you?
