What if manifestation could be effortless and instant?
I’ve written about the subconscious mind before. You should know already that the language of the subconscious mind is emotion. Emotion is how it knows what is important or what can be ignored.
But you might not know that the subconscious mind can be used for quick, near instantaneous manifestations. It doesn’t have to be a long process of belief work and releasing resistance, believe it or not.
So what is it that enables the subconscious mind to access this power?
The Subconscious Mind Is a Goal Machine
Your subconscious mind is built to help you to achieve your goals. In fact, the results you are getting in life right now are a direct manifestation of what your subconscious mind is programmed to bring you.
“But,” you object, “I don’t like the results I’m getting right now.”
Right, but nonetheless, that’s what you’ve told your subconscious mind to bring you. You might not see how you told it to bring you these results, but you did.
Every time you allowed your limitations to be more important than your goals, you told your subconscious mind that those limitations are more important, and so to flow more energy there. Therefore, you get more results that reflect those limitations back to you.
The only reason your subconscious mind does not bring you what you want is because you have not told it, in its terms, what you want.
When you tell your subconscious mind what you want, it works tirelessly, behind the scenes, to make it happen.
Have you ever had the experience of working on a problem for a while? You seem to be stuck, so you decide to walk away for a bit. And, when you come back to the problem, the solution is evident.
This is because you told your subconscious mind that you wanted to solve this problem. When you walked away, your subconscious mind was still at work gathering all its resources to solve the problem. Once you came back to the problem at hand, it effortlessly presented you its findings.
The subconscious mind is like a computer. It will act on whatever inputs you give it. If those inputs are faulty, that’s not the fault of your subconscious mind. You simply fed it wrong inputs.
If you want different outputs (results), give it different inputs. That’s as simple as it is.
But how do you do that?
The Subconscious Mind Immediately Follows Your Focus
Try this: think about a time when you felt abundant. If you prefer, substitute a different emotion.
Now, as you think about those memories, don’t you actually start to feel the feeling of abundance (or whichever emotion you selected)? Even just thinking the word “abundance” will often be enough to start triggering the emotion.
Or, even cooler in my opinion, try asking yourself, “What is it like to be abundant?”
Don’t look for the answer. Just ask the question and let it hang. The subconscious will have to answer it, because, well, that’s what it does. 🙂
Notice how this doesn’t take a lot of work. You don’t have to try to feel abundance. You just have to very lightly access that state, and it is there.
So what’s going on here?
Basically, the subconscious mind immediately responded to your focus, by giving you the emotion that you wanted to feel. It did this effortlessly, without any work on your part. There were likely no limiting beliefs, or even resistance, when you simply accessed that state.
This is actually what I refer to when I talk about “instant manifestations”. You focus on a particular state, and instantly, your subconscious mind gives you that emotion.
That might seem like a bit of a misleading statement. After all, you don’t have your physical manifestation right there in front of you once you’ve accessed that state, right?
Maybe not, but you have the seed of that manifestation. If you nurture that seed, then it will grow into your desired manifestation.
Remember that emotion is the vibrational signature of any manifestation. A simpler way of referring to it would be calling it the “seed” of that manifestation. The plant that results from a seed has the same nature as the seed. But, you can’t simply have a plant pop out of thin air. You have to plant the seed, and make sure it receives all the elements it needs to survive and to grow.
Abundance is the seed of an abundant life. Love is the seed of a relationship. Feeling healthy is the seed of physical health.
If you ask me for a seed, and I give you one, you’re not going to turn around and complain that I didn’t give you the plant already. You’ll realize that you now have to plant and nurture the seed, for it to turn into what you want it to be.
But, the point is that right now, you can plant the seed of abundance, or of love, or of health, or anything else. Then, you can water that seed, and allow it to grow into the plant it will naturally turn into.
Your Subconscious Mind Is the Lens
Your subconscious mind is like a lens. The lens will not focus itself. It will focus on whatever you direct it at.
Direct it at lack, and you will get lack. Direct it at abundance, and you will get abundance.
It doesn’t really matter to the subconscious mind. Whatever you focus it on, that you will get.
It’ll start with an emotion. That is your instant manifestation. That is how you know where your lens is focused.
In time, when you keep it focused in the same direction, it will clarify and get bigger. An emotion will turn into more powerful emotions. Those will turn into thoughts of the same nature. Those will turn into bigger and bigger physical manifestations. The full sequence of stages of a manifestation is given in The Art of Reality Creation.
But always, you immediately know where your lens is focused by the emotion that you feel. It never lies.
If you don’t like that emotion, it is up to you, and you alone, to change the focus. No one can do that for you.
In time, you’ll have a moment-by-moment awareness of exactly where your lens is focused, and you can make instant adjustments as necessary. Are you focused on a bit of lack, evidenced by the anxiety you feel around money? Refocus that lens on abundance.
How do you refocus? You have to first remove the current focus by entering the zero state. Then, you refocus your lens by simply intending the emotion you want, as I demonstrated above.
So for example, if you want more money, but you are worried about your current situation, then you would:
- Remove focus on lack by entering the zero state
- Set your focus on abundance by lightly intending it
Notice that I’m not asking you to fully visualize your goal here. That can come later.
I’m just asking you to plant the seed (excuse my mixing of metaphors), by focusing on the essence of that goal.
Maybe you can’t focus on earning $5,000 a month right now without a ton of resistance. But, you can focus on the light, positive feeling of abundance that is at the core of your goal.
Your Subconscious Mind Is Habitual
I’m not saying this will be easy. You’ll find that you focus on the unwanted quite a bit at first.
Remember that your subconscious mind, besides being a goal machine, is also an automator. In fact, it is great at automating.
When you’ve gotten in the habit of focusing on lack, for example, your subconscious automates that behavior, because again, it doesn’t care where the lens is focused.
This is what we commonly call resistance. Your subconscious mind is programmed to get something you don’t want, and so when you try to change that program, there’s going to be a time of resistance, where it keeps following the old program.
As you introduce that new program, there is a tension introduced between the old and the new.
The subconscious mind will, for a time, try to follow the old. It is your job to hold your vision of the new program you want it to install. Eventually, it will get the message, and start automating the new program instead.
Let’s give an example. Say you’re starting a new business, but this is your first time.
Your subconscious mind doesn’t have a lot of the programs you’ll need to start this business. It doesn’t have a “get clients” program, or a “market the business” program, or a “build a successful website” program.
It does have a “I don’t know how I’m going to make money” program, and a “what if no one comes?” program, and quite a few others.
Every time you think of your business, that lens is focused on the feelings of lack, and doubt in your ability to succeed.
But, you know what you want to create. You keep refocusing that lens to the new programs you want to install. The feelings might be ease, abundance, security, etc.
Every time it focuses on lack, you refocus it on the programs you want.
Pretty soon, your subconscious mind understands that your new focus is more important than these old programs, and it starts to automate the new feelings you’ve focused on.
Then, you begin to succeed. You start to get new clients, you learn how to market the business, and you build a great website.
That is the power of the subconscious mind. It knows how to automate. You just need to tell it what exactly it should be automating. Otherwise, you probably won’t like the result.
Make the Emotion Be Enough
I know I say this over and over again, but it bears repeating: you need to make the emotion be enough for now.
That’s your instant manifestation. I’m not going to do what most other law of attraction teachers do and say that these feelings are really what you want, not the goal itself.
Of course you want the goal. But just as the seed is enough until the plant grows, so the emotion must be enough until your creation grows.
Be willing to do what it takes to put your focus where it needs to be. Focus on that goal daily. But, those emotions must be enough for now.
Give your manifestation the time it needs to grow and mature.
That doesn’t mean it will take a long time. I’ve had manifestations come before within a matter of hours. But it does mean you have to be okay with the way things are right now.
Current reality is what it is, and that is okay. But, you can create something new, as long as you are willing to focus regularly on the vibrational signature of your goal.
In time, the goal will make its way into your life. But for now, what you have is the seed of that goal. Plant it, water it, and that seed will grow.
Bringing It All Together
So, the 1 secret of the subconscious mind that leads to instant manifestation is that whatever you focus on, you receive the essence of immediately.
If you have a goal you’d like to manifest, then simply think about having that goal. Or, think about times in the past that felt the same way. Then, allow the subconscious mind to effortlessly bring up the emotion at the core of the goal.
As the subconscious mind tries to return to its old programs, simply:
- Return to the zero state
- Focus on the emotion that you want to create
In time, the subconscious mind will automate the new program, and the old program will lie dormant from disuse.
The most important thing to remember here is to hold to the vision you want to create, no matter how persistent the old program is. No matter what your subconscious mind is bringing up to the surface, you redirect to focusing on your goal. You never compromise that vision, and in time, the subconscious mind will get the hint. It’ll realize this goal is more important than its old programs, and it’ll set about creating the path of least resistance to that goal.
How About You?
Now it’s your turn. Where is your lens focused? Are you being patient enough to allow the seeds of your goals to grow? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Good one Brandon. But. . . If the feeling isn’t what you are after deep down, why do you want your particular goal? It must be because it makes you feel good in some way surely. Otherwise don’t you get into that “Forget all this feeling happy BS, just give me the damn Lexus!” kind of thinking? 😉
Hi Jon,
I will clarify a bit. If you are trying to solve a problem by getting your manifestation, well honestly it’s likely not going to work anyway.
I think you create for the fun of creation. It has to be a very light, enjoyable feeling. Yes if there is that neediness associated with it, then you are sabotaging yourself.
Imagine an artist wants to create a painting. Should we say, “Well all you really want is the feeling, so don’t worry about the painting”? No, that creative urge isn’t really satisfied until the painting is created.
I’ll be posting more about this on Monday, but I see the LOA as an act of creation. Again, if someone sees it as a way to solve all their problems, they need a bit more development before they can successfully use it. But, properly used, it is an act of creation.
And with an act of creation, well you’re not quite satisfied until it is complete. Not because you need it, but because it’s what you want to create.
Thanks Brandon, as an artist, I can relate to that. There is a sense of satisfaction involved but you are right, it’s not about a need to create, and if it wasn’t enjoyable, you wouldn’t do it.The sense of satisfaction is not the object of the exercise, more of a side effect of the process. A necessary side effect mind you 😉
thanks
Your teachings are a perfect manifestation for me. Each new blog post you write feels like a new wave of even more clarity than the previous one. Thank you so much for everything!! 🙂
I have been intending successfully for 4 nights now. I do it before sleep, I can access the zero state (the sea of calm) easily, and don’t feel drowsy. I only intend once a day now, so it doesn’t feel like a burden anymore. However it feels like more than enough. The structural tension thing kicked me into an even higher gear of enthusiasm and trust, I love it! I have recently started feeling how awesome it is that my life has been the way it has been (with all the bad times), since the contrast between that and the oncoming incredible awesome manifestations is gonna be so obvious and great, which is so cool.
Brandon, why are you so awesome?
Hi Z,
Aw, thank you. I really appreciate your comments. 🙂
And I’m so happy for you that you’ve been doing so much better.
I love the idea, too, that the contrast really helps to make the goal clearer, and almost easier to obtain. I feel like this might be related to how Abraham talks about contrast being a good thing. The worse things are now, the more intensely we feel the desired goal, and so the more strongly we are propelled towards it.

This was great! It would still apply for the people you want in your life, right? Let’s say you want enlightened, like-minded people in your life and not coming into contact with those who are very old school and traditional, including relatives. Your subconscious mind would be at work, right?
Yes, of course. You will always draw those people into your life that you’re a match to. Simply enter the state that is what you want to experience.
Interesting that you mention that, Kat. A few hours ago I left my apartment to go to eat at a student’s cafeteria. I kept encountering nervous and pushy people, who talk fast and complain. Today such behavior was especially pronounced. There was fear coming up inside me, I felt it quite much in my body. The world suddenly seemed like a scary place, but I was aware of the fact that it was simply an energy inside of me wanting to be released. The subconscious must have drawn such people and my encounter with them, so I could release this fear. I entered the mindful state and realized that it was all simply automated by the subconscious. I am very glad to know that by not reacting to such people actually lessened the chance of meeting such people/behavior from now on. I am very excited to see how people and their behavior globally change in my reality.

Good simple, brief, practical instructions is what I like. This post reminded me of an excerpt from a book I have called Samyama by Yogani.
In your easy silence, pick up, just once, the
fuzziest feeling of the word Love. Don’t deliberately
make a clear pronunciation, or mental images of this
or that scene or situation that represent Love to you.
Just have a faint remembrance of the word Love, and
then let it go into your silence, the easy silence you
are in as you pick up the faint word Love. Don’t
contemplate Love or analyze it during samyama.
Contemplation is an impediment to samyama. So
don’t think about it at all.
Hi CJ,
I like that quote, and I think that’s exactly what’s going on here. You just feel the feeling of what you want, and let that grow within you naturally.

I just came back from shopping. One of the things I wanted to buy is a certain brand of chocolate milk. As I was approaching the section with dairy products, I saw a man asking a clerk about the same brand of chocolate milk. Apparently it was sold out. Then he left. I approached the spot and saw empty boxes. However after looking carefully, there was 1 bottle left, for some reason behind an empty box. It’s really amazing how the Universe works. The guy wasn’t a match for the bottle, so he didn’t see it. It was physically there, but not in his reality. However I was a match to it, so there it was. This was also a good chance for me to release some feeling of guilt. The guilt of taking that bottle away from him, where it actually was just a thing of someone being a match to something, and someone else not. If it was a child, I probably would have given it to the child. Anyway, all’s good.
Just thought about sharing this story. 🙂
Wow, that’s a really cool story, Z. 🙂 Awesome job on that one! And I agree, no need for guilt. You had every right to the chocolate milk. 😀

Hey Brandon how are you? 🙂
thankyou for posting this,
without consciously knowing that focusing on depressing, fear emotions everyday, my subconscious became chronically ill. And my world has turned upside down. So how do we change a bad manifestation? Will it just work by focusing on the emotion i want, or do i need to focus on the end goal, acting as if it’s already happened?
thanks looking forward to your reply
Hey @j,
Thanks for your comment. 🙂
I highly suggest checking out my class, The Art of Reality Creation 3.0. It’ll cover all of this at great length.
But basically, you just want to change what you’re focusing on most of the time. Focus on more positive emotions/thoughts, and your reality will start to turn around.
Also, if you want more detailed help with this, feel free to schedule a free coaching consultation to see how I can help you. 🙂

Hi, iam very interested in learning more on how to manifest the things I already have. Can you give examples on how to speak to my subconscious. Can you give several examples like wanting more money,
